The Consulate attended the International Manufacturing Technology Show 2016 (IMTS) which is the main exhibition of manufacturing  technology of the United States and one of the three most important in the world.

The fair is held every two years at the convention center Mc Cormick. This year it took place from September 12 to 15.

Argentina had a presence through the Argentina Chamber of Machine Tools and Production Technology (CARMAHE) which traditionally participates at this important fair.

The Consulate held a meeting with CARMAHE representatives Jorge Göttert, President, Luis Lewin, Vice President and Federico Meligrana Dorin, Executive Manager.

In the frame of the meeting, the Consulate pledged to promote the International Fair of Machine Tools and Technologies for Production (FIMAQH) to be held in Argentina in 2018.
