May Revolution Commemoration

On May 25th, the Consulate General of Argentina in Chicago celebrated the commemoration of May Revolution at the Argentine restaurant “Folklore”.
The event hosted over 100 people, between members of the Chicago Consular Corps, federal, state and municipal authorities, businessmen, local artists and members of the Argentine community who reside in the Midwest.
As part of the celebration, Consul General offered recognition to the founder of the Argentine Association of Saint Louis (State of Missouri), Mrs. Cristina Santa Cruz.
In addition to that, the audience enjoyed a performance by the prestigious singer Belén Mackinley, who sang the National Anthem and presented a wide repertoire of Argentine Folk music.
