Applicable at the Argentine Consulate General in Chicago

Visa Fees
This Consulate accepts debit and credit cards. A completed Credit/Debit Card Authorization Form must be included with the visa application and all supporting documents.
Visa processing fees are non-refundable, even if the visa is not issued.

Application Submission

No appointment is required to drop off a visa application. All documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Documents are accepted in sealed envelopes Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Central Time).

Applications may also be submitted by mail and must include the original passport. The use of a mailing service with tracking capability is strongly recommended.

Important information

• Documents sent by email will not be reviewed.
• Documents will not be reviewed when you dropped off.
• After the original documents are reviewed, the applicant will be contacted directly.
• Interviews are by appointment only and will not be offered without prior scheduling.
• Due to high visa demand, expedited processing may be prioritized for applicants with upcoming travel.
• Please do NOT staple or write on supporting documents.
• Documents are per person, not per family. Each applicant must provide all documents, even if identical.
