US citizens do not require a visa to enter Argentina as tourists for a stay of up to three months. The Consulate issues visas to foreign citizens who need them according to the activities they will perform in Argentina.

*Visa Fees: This Consulate accepts debit and credit cards. Fee must be included with application and it is non-refundable, even if visa is not issued. To provide credit/debit card information, simply copy card on both sides, or write down number, expiration date and security code.

Please note that for nationals from Taiwan, Kosovo or from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic
Republic, two identical pictures will be required and processing fee is $250.00.-
*Citizens of India and Morocco are exempt of visa fees when applying for tourist and
business visas; however, they are not exempt of other type of visa fees. Exemptions do not
include expedite services.
*No appointment needed to drop off an application, however all documents must be placed in a sealed envelope. Documents may also be sent by mail, including the original passport. It is strongly urged the use of mail service that provides tracking numbers. To return passport back to you, please keep in mind that UPS or FedEx have drop off boxes in the building. We do not review e-mailed documents and we do not review documents ‘while you wait”.
We accept documents in a sealed envelope from 9a.m to 1p.m Central Time
*After original documents are reviewed, we will contact the applicant directly. No interviews
will be offered without previous appointment.
Due to the high demand of visas, we will prioritize expedite option for upcoming travel.
Expedite option requires:
-meeting all requirements;
-original passport is in possession of the Consulate;
-favorable interview, personal or virtual;
-payment of expedite $40. Please provide credit card information (number, expiration date, and security code).
