Visa for individuals entering the Argentine Republic solely for the purpose of leisure or recreation for up to 90 days.
Tourist visas may be applied for at any Argentine Republic Consular Representation.
Requirements

Original 2026 Visa Application Form, duly completed and signed by the applicant

One passport-size photograph, front-facing, with a white background

Copy of the first page of the passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Argentina, and with at least one blank page (two sides) available

Copy of a U.S. visa or Green Card, in the case of non-U.S. citizens

Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the stay:

Bank statements for the last month.

Copy of the latest credit card statement.

The consular authority may request supplementary or additional documentation, such as:

Employer letter signed by an authorized representative, notarized with the statement “signed before me”.

Salary slips/pay stubs for the last month.

Bank letter certifying funds (signed and notarized)

Round-trip flight reservation in the name as shown in the passport (it is recommended not to purchase tickets until the visa has been granted)

Hotel reservation and travel itinerary in the name as shown in the passport

If no hotel reservation is available and the applicant is staying with a private individual, a Letter of Invitation, signed before a Notary Public and legalized by the Notaries Association, must be sent by postal mail to the Argentine Consulate

Consular interview
The consular authority may request additional or supplementary documentation, as deemed necessary, either before or after the scheduled appointment date.

The interview will be scheduled only after all required documents have been received and reviewed, and subject to appointment availability
Fees

Consular fee: USD 150, payable by credit or debit card NON REFUNDABLE.

An expedited processing fee of USD 40 may be paid for same-day processing, subject to availability – please inquire about this option

Failure to submit all required documentation and information in original form will result in the cancellation of the appointment, which will be rescheduled for a later date once all required documentation has been received and reviewed, subject to availability.

MEETING THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE GRANTING OF A VISA, AS THIS IS THE EXCLUSIVE PREROGATIVE OF THE ARGENTINE STATE.
Once the visa has been granted, the passport must be collected IN PERSON or by a THIRD PARTY WITH WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT at this Consulate.
