Visa for individuals entering the Argentine Republic for the purpose of performing paid or unpaid activities for up to 30 days in the scientific, professional, technical, or artistic fields. This category includes students and individuals participating in congresses or trade fairs.
Visas under this category may be applied for at any Consular Representation of the Argentine Republic.
Requirements

Original 2026 Visa Application Form, duly completed and signed by the applicant

One passport-size photograph, front-facing, with a white background

Copy of the first page of the passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Argentina, and with at least one blank page (two sides) available

Copy of a U.S. visa or Green Card, in the case of non-U.S. citizens

Proof of the activity to be carried out, related to the visa being requested (work, study, or other), as applicable. For example, a letter signed by a recognized authority of the company or institution

Consular interview
The consular authority may request supplementary or additional documentation, as deemed appropriate, either before or after the scheduled consular appointment.

Consular fee: USD 200, payable by credit or debit card NON REFUNDABLE.

An expedited processing fee of USD 40 may be paid for same-day processing, subject to availability – please inquire about this option

Failure to submit all required documentation and information in original form will result in the cancellation of the appointment, which will be rescheduled for a later date once all required documentation has been received and reviewed, subject to availability.

MEETING THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE GRANTING OF A VISA, AS THIS IS THE EXCLUSIVE PREROGATIVE OF THE ARGENTINE STATE.
Once the visa has been granted, the passport must be collected IN PERSON or by a THIRD PARTY WITH WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT at the premises of this Consulate.
